OVERVIEW

The PRO Ballscrew Z-Axis is built for performance and engineered for modern CNC applications. A standard component in our PRO CNC Machine Kits, this high-speed linear motion axis is designed to carry heavier tools like our 4 HP or 8.7 HP Plug and Play Spindles with speed, precision, and reliability.

Now updated with a billet machined base mounting plate, improved internal alignment for lower friction, and easier maintenance access, this axis is ready for even more demanding shop environments. It's also compatible with our automatic tool changer (ATC) axis mounted features right out of the box.

T-slots on the exterior conform to the standard 40mm pitch, ensuring full compatibility with our Router and Spindle Mounts. The axis mounts directly to the gantry plate in any PRO CNC Machine Kit but is also suitable for integration into custom builds.

Available in two travel lengths: 8" standard or 12" extended for applications requiring longer than average tools.
