CNC12 for Avid CNC Machines¶
New Installations¶
New installations require the Avid CNC Centroid Profile Manager and at least one Machine Profile (please follow the steps outlined in the CNC12 Software Setup GuideCNC12 Software Setup Guide - https://www.avidcnc.com/instructions/software).
Avid CNC Machine Profiles:¶
Note: When installing a new profile, no existing profiles will be modified and will remain available to switch to at any time.
Dual Use Machines
If you are setting up a dual use router/plasma machine, you will need to create one profile for plasma and one profile for router.
Profile Updates¶
A patch allows you to update your existing profile to the listed version while maintaining your machine configuration. Compatibility with your exisitng profile is checked and a backup of your existing profile will be made during the patch process.
