Dust Shoe Features¶

Your Avid CNC Universal Dust Shoe features an easily removable brush ring for tool changing or inspection, or for switching brush lengths. With the spindle off, simply pull down on the dust ring to disengage it from the magnets in the housing. Avid CNC has 2", 2.5", and 3" long brush rings available.

In the event your dust shoe becomes clogged or you need more access to your tool, you can easily remove the lower housing by unsnapping the metal latch.

Your dust shoe is compatible with the Avid CNC Laser deployment system. Simply orient your dust shoe to the side away from your laser, or straight out from the spindle.

The hose connection to the dust shoe is designed to easily detach, allowing you to quickly clean up any chips or dust on the work area. Turn the hose counter clockwise and lift to detach it from the dust shoe. When you are done, reconnect it to the shoe.
