Auto Z & Corner Finding Touch Plate

Operation Note - Touch Plate Isolation

The touch plate must be electrically isolated from the machine to function as intended. It cannot be used directly on metal or workholding that has a conductive path to the machine frame.

Operation Note - Operating Without Magnet

In most cases the Auto Z Touchplate can be used without the magnet after a splitter harness is installed. The splitter creates a more reliable signal ground connection to the Z axis, spindle, and cutting tool. Auto Z Touchplate Magnetless Instructions [PDF]
