Our Proximity Sensor Kit features Pepperl + Fuchs NPN inductive proximity switches and installs easily on all of our Standard, PRO, and Benchtop machine kits, or machines from other manufacturers.

This kit provides a complete solution to automatically home your CNC machine, square your gantry, and provide active safety limits to prevent crashes and protect your machine and workpieces.

We highly recommend its use with any of our Standard CNC, PRO CNC, or Benchtop CNC machine kits.

Product Features

7mm detection distance against steel and 4.5mm distance against aluminum. The extended range allows you to fully protect your limit switches with bumpers or other mechanisms and still have sensing range
Increased working temperature range (-25 to 70 degrees C), and negligible drift in sensing distance over the working temperature range.
Outstanding German quality in component selection and assembly.
Each sensor has an LED to quickly indicate function, and features an M12 x 1 threaded body that provides fine adjustment of detection distance for precision homing and squaring of your machine.
Our sensor cables feature M12 connectors, the standard for our Plug and Play CNC Control Systems.
The sensor cables are available in 12', 20', and 28' lengths, with either a straight or lower profile right-angle connection to the sensor

PRO CNC configuration

Product Notes

If you purchased a PRO Series Machine prior to 2019, you will use the Standard CNC sensor configuration.

Our proximity sensors do not require an external power source when used with any of our Plug and Play CNC Control Systems. If you require a power source for use with other electronics that do not provide 12-30v power for sensors, we offer a separate 12V / 5V Power Supply.

Sensors plug directly into M12 connectors on our Plug and Play CNC Control Systems. For less integrated electronics kits, we offer M12 Female Panel Mount Connectors and a DIN Rail and Terminal Block Kit as separate products.
