The AV Series Smart Spindles represent one of the most exciting advancements in Avid CNC’s history. These spindles optimize manual tool changes, improve safety, and simplify the setup/upgrade process while offering full ATC capability when paired with our upcoming retractable tool rack.

Powerful Options
The AV70S, our largest spindle, provides 7HP on single phase power, and 8.7HP on 3-phase power. The AV40S (coming soon) will provide 4HP of cutting power.
Backwards Compatibility
The AV70S and AV40S are fully compatible with existing Avid CNC 8.7HP and 4HP spindle controllers respectively, saving you up to $2000.
Simple Setup
